Your daily result, a longer journey
Finish the daily expedition to join automatically under a random Explorer name. Each browser gets one ranked attempt per UTC day. Practice and replays cannot replace that attempt. Your answers stay private.
Scores, periods and medals
Answer value contributes 70% and speed 30%. Later rounds have a little more weight, from 1.00 to 1.30, and the complete daily score is scaled to 700. Skipped, timed-out and unanswered rounds score zero. A deep cut means the original answer value was at least 70, with no separate bonus. See examples of the scoring rules.
Weeks run Monday through Sunday in UTC; months follow the UTC calendar. Weekly, monthly and all-time totals add each explorer's eligible daily scores, rewarding both strong answers and regular play. The date of the challenge decides which period it belongs to.
Every list shows the top 3. Gold, silver and bronze mark the current top three, even while a period is still in progress. Your own global rank stays available outside the list. Ties go to the explorer who reached the total first, then a stable final order. New scores can change these standings.
The current boards use the same speed-and-difficulty scoring rules. Earlier scoring editions stay separate so their scores are not mixed or rewritten.
Fair play, browser identity and sharing
This is a friendly comparison. A browser identity is not a verified person. Clearing cookies or using another device creates a different identity and loses access to the old one. Repeated play can reveal answers; please keep the discovery fair.
